Absolutely fantastic. We generally don’t post about our stays but in this instance I think the hotel deserves it. We had a junior suite and a double room for four of us. It being a relatively new hotel, room and set-up is very good. But what compelled us to write the review is the level of service we received at the hotel. There was an incident during the first night of our stay there. It was purely due to the night porter’s somewhat lack of English. But the way Ricardo, Roberto and the manager Paolo handled it the next morning was exceptional. I can’t fault that. One of our highlights in Venice was sitting at the front concourse of the hotel sipping a fabulous cocktail made up by Mattio, the in-house mixologist there. As our flight was late in the evening they were very happy to allow us to sit in the lobby and provided us with all kinds of assistance. Over the years. we have been fortunate enough to stay in some of the big name hotels in Europe and North Africa, I will say the personal touch and level of service this hotel provided is up to that standard. It was like the exact correct level of service without getting overbearing. All the restaurant recommendations provided were brilliant, all the tours they arranged for us were very good and value for money. I don’t know when I will go back to Venice again, but when I go, I know where I will stay.

Location, cleanliness, STAFF make this boutique hotel unique and welcoming. Even in the week or so before our arrival, Martina worked closely with us to coordinate our arrangements (including arranging a driver to meet us at the airport and a private vaporetto and escort to the hotel), and she was just as courteous and helpful during our quick stay. Matteo, who escorted us to the hotel, Tina, who hosted a beautiful breakfast as part of our stay, and Ricardo who helped us with restaurant arrangements in the evening were each exemplary and welcoming in their roles. The hotel is located in a great, convenient location, is up-to-date in every way, beautifully decorated, and very clean. Our stay was much too short, but we will certainly be back to Santa Croce Boutique Hotel, and we highly recommend it.

All the staff were very good indeed! The bar staff were surprisingly knowledgeable about all sorts of drinks, not just the wine. Marco walked us to the water taxi , very nice guy. Everyone was attentive. The suite was impeccablely Clean. The bed, I haven't slept that well in I don't know how long, firm, just right. Location, a lovely stroll to the main square, past some amazing eaterys. The decor was classy with stylish, rich colours and lovely patterns. I liked the quilted embroidered walls ! The gnt with a hint of salt ! The outdoor space is lovely too ! I'm very tempted to cone and stay again, I really am !

Santa Croce boutique hotel is centrally located in a lovely, authentic neighbourhood close to all the main sights and less than 10 minutes walk from Santa Lucia station. The staff were absolutely wonderful and took the time to give us great tips and really make us feel at home. Our room was spacious and comfortable with modern shower, comfortable bed and a nice sitting down area with a completary minibar. Will definitely be back

Martina was absolutely great and greeted us kindly with a lot of information on what to do in Venice. She helped me on my quest to find the best ice cream and with restaurant reservations. All staff were friendly and joyful as well as helpful. We truly felt at home and would come back anytime. The location was perfect to walk around and the hotel very quiet and comfortable. We loved it!
